Iron Blooms

This photo was made in Prescott, AZ. The bottom of an iron fence at the St. Michael’s Hotel has flowers along the bottom, hence the title Iron Blooms. From this angle some have said they look like soldiers.  While I typically shoot nature (lots of flowers) and macro, the flowers on this fence caught my attention.  Using my Nikon 50 mm 1.8 lens, I was able to get this abstract shot.

This image is also in Leanne Cole’s Monochrome Madness post on her blog.  To see all the photos from around the world in the gallery, click here!
